Animals as companions: The reliable and selfless companionship a pet is offering, can give a great satisfaction. The relationship between humans and animals do not require the same effort as the relationships between people, and the reward is love, gratitude, fun and companionship.
Caressing an animal brings relief to his boss and also relief from the requirements of human relationships. The modern lifestyle can lead to loneliness, isolation and a feeling of powerlessness. Pets help to address these problems. Pet owners, according to an international study, are less likely to report feelings of loneliness than those who do not have a pet, while 58% of owners say they met new friends through animals. Studies have shown that social contact is enhanced, if people with disabilities bring a pet. Animals as family members: Animals are more than just companions. There are people who seek to return to basics, simplify their lives and regain traditional values. Pets are closely associated with these objectives. Children can learn to be responsible, to treat something politely, animal behavior and death. Parents can use animals to teach their children. It's good for children to learn to care about someone other than themselves. Animals as helpers: Animals serve us in many ways - not only for companionship but also for work or treatment. They have been proven valuable in many roles. Serve as guides for the blind, aide people with reduced mobility and assistant police or customs officials. Dogs help shepherds, horses people with limited mobility, while cats help control insect pests. Pets help the sick, prisoners or people with mental disorders.
