Online game is a game played with computers via the web browser, eg through Firefox or Internet Explorer. The player usually doesn’t need to have neither console nor any additional software. Many online games can be played on computers with limited performance, since the resource requirements are relatively low. Online game can be a quick game, that we can play on the PC from the office during the lunch break or when relaxing evening at home with the some popular game like LineageII or World of Warcraft - both can played through the Web browser.

Online games run in the browser via Plugins type flash, java and shockwave, and usually do not have high demands on the graphics or the speed of data transmission. So, it can operate on computers with low-efficiency and even on small Netbook.

Online games run on the player’s local computer, or by game provider’s server, eg mu online private server . They are almost always online games operated via a Plugin on the client's computer. After loading the game, it does not necessarily need to be connected to the Internet, the volume and the demands of the game being relatively small. Complex games online, for example LineageII and World of Warcraft, are classified as server games, requiring a connection to the game provider’s server. Online games are usually multiplayer server games, ie, Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPG) for numerous players. For these online games, usually is required a download, as well as the installation of additional software. The game itself is played always in the browser

While the first online games were limited to just online card games and little fun games, today's online games cover almost the entire range of gaming. There are extensive MMORPG, like strategy games and shooters and car racing.

Communities and Clans

Since games are usually concentrated in the provider's website, communities usually are created, which make appointments to play, or share tips with each other via email, or via online chat. When team movements are required in certain Multiplayer online games, then players often participate in groups called Clans. For more information please follow mu online high rate mu online
