How to Copy Files From iPod to iPod or iPhone

Copying your iPod library files - your music, your video, your ringtones - to a new iPod appears like an evident thing that men and women might want to do. Buy some new iPod into a newer, fancier model for example. Share personal videos with friends (nah, we are not going to discuss illegally sharing music, now are we?). Allow your little sister have some of the cool new tunes you've included with your iTunes library since you gave her your old iPod. No brainers, right?

Apple, unfortunately, decided that ITunes mustn't be capable to help iPod owners try this, it doesn't matter how legitimate the requirement or use. Their logic looks like it's to avoid illegal file sharing...that is a worthy cause, obviously.

Sadly, though, because of this everybody doing legitimate filesharing - and there's no shortage from it occurring - get punished. It's a 'guilty until proven innocent' approach.

Well, thank heavens for Vacation vendors.

The cream from the crop is the IPod 2 iPod transfer utility, developed by The Boys DownUnder, a whole new Zealand firm, lets you copy your files derived from one of iPod to a new via the local computer as well as across a network. It is remarkably easy to use.

You are able to drag and drop Songs, Playlists or Videos between iPods. You can find duplicate songs and delete the darn things, saving valuable space for more music!

It's also possible to sort your songs by artist, genre, albums and all the other items you wish to sort by...to ensure, say, you prefer to share the tracks produced by your chosen local garage band (the one where you are the drummer), you do not have to visit wandering around your iPod to attempt to discover their whereabouts and transfer them.

Ah...but suppose you donrrrt have a very computer and even transfer files anyway? Well, provide the Hitch iPod2iPod USB Transfer Device a peek. With this particular cool tool you can link two iPods - or any other USB enabled storage devices - and instantly transfer music, videos or any other data between the two. You might attach your iPod for your digital camera or your usb drive, by way of example, and directly http://www.wondershare.com/mobile-phone/copy-video-from-iphone.html. The downside of Hitch - and it's also a large one - is it only works with Windows-configured iPods. You might need no option, then iPod2iPod...or old 'transfer to iTunes - synch on the new iPod' may be the way to go.
